Atwima Mponua NDC Gets First-Ever Constituency Office As Chairman Kutu Donates Bus To Boost Party Work
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Mponua Constituency of the Ashanti Region has made history with the commissioning of its first-ever constituency office complex at Agogoso.
The modern office facility was fully constructed by the incumbent constituency chairman, Alhaji Salifu Haruna Zampa, popularly known as Chairman Kutu, who is seeking re-election.
In a further show of commitment to the party, Chairman Kutu also donated a Sprinter bus to support and facilitate effective party mobilization and operations across the constituency.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Alhaji Zampa appealed to delegates to reward his hard work, sacrifice and immense contributions to the party by renewing his mandate in the upcoming constituency elections.
Party executives at the event explained that the new office will not only serve as an administrative hub but will also serve as a support centre for party members engaged in trading, with plans to roll out a fund to improve their businesses and livelihoods.
The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, who was present at the ceremony, admonished delegates to elect selfless, competent and visionary leaders who will advance the interest and development of the NDC in Atwima Mponua and the Ashanti Region at large.
The commissioning has been described by many party faithful as a major milestone in the history of the NDC in Atwima Mponua, as the party has never had a constituency office complex until now.
