Dormaa Central NDC Chairman Urges Aspirants To Avoid Hate Speech And Maintain Unity Ahead Of Constituency Elections

The Dormaa Central Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. George Adu, popularly known as Chairman Yaw Agarpet, has called on party members and aspirants to avoid hate speech and maintain unity and discipline ahead of the constituency elections.

According to him, the unity exhibited by the constituency’s 28 executives contributed significantly to the party’s victory in the 2024 general elections.

Acknowledging that factions are inevitable in competitive elections, he urged aspirants to focus their campaigns on their plans and vision for the positions they are contesting, rather than attacking their opponents.

Mr. Adu stressed the need to preserve unity and discipline throughout the electoral process and after the elections to safeguard the party’s cohesion and progress.

In a related development, Chairman Yaw Agarpet has refuted claims that he is grooming a candidate to challenge the incumbent Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central, Dr. John Kwame Adu Jack, in the party’s next parliamentary primaries.

He described the allegations as false and without any basis, insisting that he has no such intentions.

He has therefore called for unity among party members, stressing that unity and discipline are essential for sustaining the NDC’s achievements beyond its four-year mandate and for securing victory in subsequent elections.
