Offinso South: Hon. Sumaila Zakari Popularly Known As Hon. Abidal Calls For Unity Among Party Members

The newly elected Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Offinso South Constituency, Hon. Sumaila Zakari, popularly known as Hon. Abidal, has called for unity among party members following his election.

Hon. Abidal expressed profound gratitude to delegates and party executives for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and bring all members together.

According to him, his primary responsibility is to foster unity and inclusiveness among the youth wing, including reaching out to members who lost their positions during the internal elections.

He stressed that the NDC belongs to everyone, irrespective of background, noting that the party is not a tribal organisation but a political party that welcomes all people.

The newly elected Youth Organiser further explained that the party’s constitution makes provision for co-opting five additional executives to join the existing leadership, a move he believes will promote inclusiveness and unity within the constituency.

Hon. Abidal therefore called on all members, especially the youth, to put their differences aside and work collectively towards achieving the party’s goals in Offinso South, especially as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.
