Rev. Benjamin Ofosu Nkromah Elected NPP Asokwa Constituency Chairman, Expresses Profound Gratitude
KUMASI – The newly elected Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Rev. Benjamin Ofosu Nkromah, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders who contributed to the successful conduct of the Constituency Executive Elections and his subsequent election.
In a statement issued shortly after his victory in the polls held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, Rev. Nkromah said he received the news with humility and gratitude.
“With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I extend my sincerest appreciation to everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the Asokwa Constituency Executive Elections and to my election as Constituency Chairman,” he stated.
Rev. Nkromah extended his profound appreciation to the Election Committee, the Member of Parliament for Asokwa, the Ashanti Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Polling Station Executives, the Council of Elders, Patrons, dedicated NPP grassroots members, his Polling Agents, the Electoral Commission, the Ghana Police Service – Asokwa Division, the Press and Media, and every individual who offered support, prayers, encouragement and resources.
According to him, the peaceful and credible nature of last Sunday’s elections was a testament to the unity and democratic credentials of the NPP in Asokwa.
“I am deeply honoured and humbled by the confidence you have reposed in me. I regard this victory not as a personal achievement, but as a collective mandate to serve our great party with integrity,” Rev. Nkromah added.
He pledged to lead an inclusive administration that will prioritize unity, reconciliation, and grassroots empowerment ahead of the party’s broader agenda.
Rev. Nkromah assured members that his leadership will work closely with all elected constituency executives, the MP, and party faithful to strengthen the party structures from the polling station to the constituency level.
He further called on all party members, including those who contested and did not win, to come together as one family to build a stronger and more formidable NPP in Asokwa.
The Asokwa Constituency is considered one of the key strongholds of the NPP in the Ashanti Region, and political watchers say the new executive has a crucial role to play in mobilizing the base for future elections.
Rev. Nkromah concluded by once again thanking the entire Asokwa NPP fraternity and reaffirming his commitment to selfless and dedicated service.
