Platinum Executive Group Celebrates Mother’s Day with Support for New Mothers at Mamponteng Hospital

The Platinum Executive Group has celebrated Mother’s Day by donating assorted items to five mothers who gave birth on Sunday at the Mamponteng Government Hospital in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The group also settled the medical bills of the beneficiaries as part of efforts to support mothers and newborn babies.

Founder of the group, Anita Amoah, said the initiative is aimed at supporting new mothers in various hospitals and reducing the financial burden families go through after childbirth.

She noted that motherhood deserves recognition and support, especially for women who endure challenges during delivery.

Speaking during the presentation, the Senior Staff Midwife at the Mamponteng Government Hospital, Comfort Anane, commended the group for the gesture and described it as timely and beneficial to the beneficiaries.

She, however, appealed for support to expand the hospital’s labour ward, explaining that the current facility is too small to accommodate the increasing number of pregnant women who visit the hospital for delivery and antenatal services.

Comfort Anane further called on individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organisations to assist the hospital with infrastructure and logistics to improve healthcare delivery at the facility.

The beneficiaries also expressed appreciation to the Platinum Executive Group for the support and kindness shown to them on Mother’s Day.
