NDC Offinso South Constituency Executive Aspirant, Abdulai Rauf Salifu, Dies After Filing And Vetting
The Offinso South Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been hit with grief following the death of its Constituency Executive Member aspirant, Abdulai Rauf Salifu.
Mr. Salifu, who was Ballot Number 15 in the constituency executive contest, passed away shortly after successfully filing his nomination and undergoing vetting.
The late aspirant was campaigning on the motto “Grassroot Unification All Inclusive” with a vision for “A stronger, united and progressive constituency where every young person has the opportunity to work, grow and succeed.”
His campaign poster had already been circulated across the constituency ahead of the elections, projecting him as a unifier and youth-focused leader.
The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed, but his sudden demise has left party members and supporters in shock.
Many within the NDC in Offinso South have described him as a committed, humble and dedicated party member whose contribution to the grassroots will be missed.
The party is expected to announce funeral and burial arrangements in due course.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
