Pentecost Church Strengthens Ties with Traditional Leaders to Advance Community Transformation.

The Suame Area Head of the Church of Pentecost has called for closer collaboration between the church and traditional authorities to promote moral values and accelerate community development.

The call was made during an engagement with traditional leaders in the Suame Area of the Ashanti Region, where church leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening relationships with chiefs in advancing national development.

Speaking to the media, the Suame Area Chieftaincy Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Elder Dr. Nana K. Gyasi, stressed that the country’s development would be enhanced if governments adequately supported community development projects while traditional leaders continued to champion development initiatives within their jurisdictions.

He noted that chiefs play a critical role in mobilizing their communities and urged traditional authorities across the country to work closely with government and other stakeholders to improve the living conditions of their people.

Also speaking at the event, the Suame Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Agyen Brefo, said the church’s mission goes beyond the four walls of the sanctuary by extending the Gospel to traditional institutions.

According to him, the engagement seeks to deepen the relationship between the church and traditional councils, promote Christian values, and encourage collaborative efforts that contribute to peaceful and sustainable community development.

The engagement formed part of the Church of Pentecost’s efforts to strengthen ties with traditional authorities while encouraging shared responsibility for community transformation and national development.
