Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong C.Y.O Holds Management Council Meeting Ahead of 30th Anniversary Celebrations

Effiduase, Ghana – May 17, 2026– The Catholic Youth Organization (C.Y.O) of the Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong has concluded its Diocesan Management Council Meeting with a thanksgiving Mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Effiduase.

The meeting, held on Friday, May 16, 2026, brought together officers from the various deaneries across the diocese.

The gathering climaxed today with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Atta Mensah, Parish Priest of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Effiduase.

A key focus of the meeting was the planning for the Diocesan C.Y.O 30th Anniversary and Jamboree, scheduled to take place in July 2026.

Discussions centered on ensuring a memorable and spiritually enriching celebration to mark three decades of youth ministry and formation in the diocese.

Present at the meeting was Nana Agyei-Sikapa K. Emmanuel, Diocesan Chairperson, who represented the Diocesan Youth Council and shared remarks on behalf of the youth leadership.

The Diocesan Youth Council congratulates the entire C.Y.O family on reaching this significant milestone of 30 years of service, faith, and fellowship.
