Offinso North: Hon Dr.Fred Kyei Asamoah Marks Eid with Offinso North Muslims

Hon. Dr.Fred Kyei Asamoah, Member of
Parliament for Offinso North and Chairman of the Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Committee, joined the Muslim community in the constituency to mark the end of their fasting period.

Addressing the gathering, he expressed gratitude to Allah for a successful fasting season and prayed for continued peace, unity, and blessings among the people.

The MP also used the occasion to encourage parents to guide their children to take advantage of the online application system, Anidaso Students’ Assistanship Program (ASAP).

The initiative, funded through 5% of his Common Fund, is designed to support tertiary students, with each beneficiary receiving a minimum of GHC 2,000.

He emphasized that the online rollout would eliminate challenges where applicants rely on intermediaries who fail to follow through.

In line with his annual tradition, Dr. Asamoah extended support to Muslim widows through the Chief Imam.

He further disclosed that an ultra-modern emergency unit is currently under construction at Nkenkaasu to improve healthcare delivery and respond effectively to emergency situations in the area.
