BREAKING NEWS: 8-Month Pregnant Woman Found Lifeless in Farm

A tragic incident has occurred in Yawusukrom, in the Dormaa West District, where a 33-year-old woman, Haiga, who was approximately seven to eight months pregnant, was found lifeless in her farm on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

According to her husband, Elder Kumbur Bright, also known as Elder Bright, Haiga had left their house for the farm to harvest okro in the morning.

When she failed to return by 6:00 pm, her husband sent their youngest sister, who was unwell that day, to check on her.

Upon not finding her, Elder Bright rushed to the farm, where he made the grim discovery.

Elder Bright alerted his brothers, and they reported the incident to the Nkrankwanta Police.

The police retrieved the body from the farm between 11:00 pm and 12:00 am for further investigation.

Sources claim that Haiga was allegedly slaughtered. Many who accompanied the police to the scene returned, visibly shake
