‎Omilo Foundation Launched to Empower Young Entrepreneurs in Sene West

‎A new dawn of opportunity has begun in Sene West with the official launch of the Omilo Foundation, an initiative established by Chairman Uborti Karim Mahmoud Napor, the Sene West Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

‎

‎The foundation seeks to support young people within the constituency who have contributed in diverse ways to the success of the NDC by providing grants to grow and sustain their businesses.

‎

‎Speaking at the launch on October 4, 2025, Chairman Karim announced that the foundation will support ten (10) young people every month, with each beneficiary receiving a minimum of GHS 1,000 to boost their business ventures. During the event, the first batch of 10 young entrepreneurs received GHS 1,000 each as seed support for their enterprises.

‎‎The Administrator of the Foundation, Mr. Jackson Miller, who also serves as the Deputy Youth Organizer of the NDC in Sene West, outlined the selection process.

He explained that interested applicants will be required to complete a simple grant request form detailing how they intend to utilize the funds.

Mr. Miller further mentioned that beneficiaries will soon receive business advisory and mentorship support from the Foundation’s Secretariat to ensure the sustainability and growth of their businesses.

‎Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude and excitement, commending Chairman Karim for his visionary leadership and generosity.

They described the initiative as a lifeline for young entrepreneurs and a demonstration of the Chairman’s genuine commitment to youth empowerment and community development.

‎The Omilo Foundation stands as a shining example of how leadership can transform lives, promoting self-reliance, enterprise, and economic growth among the youth of Sene West.
