“Give Your Children Skills That Will Build Them” – Adontenhene Nana Acheampong Attansah Says as 2026 STEM Admissions Open

KUMASI- The Kumasi STEM Junior High School coordinator,Adonten Nana Owoahene Acheampong Attansah, has called on Ghanaian parents to prioritize skills-based education for their children, stating that the future belongs to children who can think critically, solve problems and innovate.

The Kumasi STEM school coordinator  made the call during an interaction with the Noble News crew on the leading STEM-focused basic school in Kumasi, as the school officially announced the opening of admissions for the 2026 academic year.

According to Adonten Nana Owoahene Acheampong Attansah, the world is fast changing and certificates alone are no longer enough to guarantee success for the next generation.

“The future does not belong to children who can only memorize and reproduce what they are taught. The future belongs to children who can think, solve problems, and innovate. We must give our children skills that will build and develop them for life,” he stated.

He emphasized that Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education is the key to preparing Ghanaian children to compete globally and to contribute meaningfully to national development.

Admissions Open for 2026 Academic Year

The Coordinator of the Kumasi STEM School has announced that admissions are now open for the 2026 academic year.

The Coordinator disclosed that limited slots are available for Junior High School (JHS1)  level.

He noted that the school offers a rich blend of the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum with advanced STEM, robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, and innovation labs, taught by well-trained facilitators in a conducive learning environment.

“We are calling on parents who want the best for their wards to take advantage of this window. We are not just teaching children to pass exams; we are training problem solvers, creators and future leaders,” the Coordinator said.
