Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi Commissions New Pre-School Complex to Deepen Holistic Education.
Ahinsan Estate, Kumasi It was a day of great joy and thanksgiving at Ahinsan Estate as the school community witnessed the solemn blessing and dedication of its new Pre-School Complex, a landmark project aimed at providing a nurturing, holistic and faith-filled learning environment for every child.
The ultra-modern, purpose-built facility for early childhood learners was solemnly dedicated to God as a centre for academic excellence, moral formation and Catholic values.
The Rite of Blessing and Dedication was led by His Grace, Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye, Metropolitan Archbishop of Kumasi, assisted by Very Rev. Msgr. Louis Kofi Tuffour, Vicar General of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi.
In his exhortation, Archbishop Anokye lauded the school’s leadership for its vision and commitment to holistic Catholic education.
He prayed that the complex would be a sanctuary of learning where young children grow in wisdom, knowledge and stature before God, and called on parents and educators to remain steadfast partners in raising children in faith, discipline and love.
The ceremony was graced by Hon. Kwabena Boateng, Member of Parliament for Ejisu, whose presence highlighted the shared commitment of Church and State to advancing quality education.
Also in attendance were the Proprietress, priests and religious, management, staff, pupils, parents, invited guests and well-wishers who joined to celebrate the milestone.
In her vote of thanks, the Proprietress expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God, the Archdiocese of Kumasi and all benefactors and collaborators whose prayers, generosity and hard work brought the vision to fruition.
She reaffirmed the school’s resolve to offer safe, stimulating and child-friendly early childhood education rooted in Christian values.
The colourful event featured uplifting choral ministrations by the school choir, the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon, and a guided tour of the new classrooms and facilities.
We thank God for His abundant blessings and pray that this new Pre-School Complex at Ahinsan Estate will be a beacon where young minds are nurtured to grow in wisdom, faith and love, and firmly grounded for lifelong learning and service to God and humanity.
