NPP Communicator Slams DCE Over “Inaccurate” Claims About MP’s Assembly Attendance.
A heated exchange has erupted between the District Chief Executive (DCE) and a member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communication team in Offinso North, Mr. Oti Boateng.

In a strongly worded statement, Mr. Boateng accused the DCE Hon.Caeser Ofosu Acheampong of providing inaccurate and misleading information to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) regarding the MP’s attendance at Assembly meetings.
The controversy centers around the DCE’s Hon.Caeser Ofosu Acheampong claim that the MP, Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, was engaged and therefore sent a representative to an Assembly meeting.

However, Mr. Boateng disputes this, stating that Dr. Asamoah personally attended the meeting despite receiving the invitation on short notice.
According to Mr. Boateng, Dr. Asamoah contributed to the discussions, even after the DCE Hon Caeser Ofosu Acheampong had concluded his submissions and suggested the session be brought to a close.
This development highlights the ongoing tensions between the DCE Hon Caeser Ofosu Acheampong and the MPHon.Dr.Fred Kyei Asamoah with Mr. Boateng’s statement suggesting that the DCE’s claims are not only inaccurate but also intended to mislead.
The situation remains fluid, with potential implications for the relationship between the Assembly and the MP.
