NDC Youth Organizer Aspirant Fulfils GH¢15,000 Pledge to Bunkpurugu Constituency Youth
Bunkpurugu, North East Region. In a rare show of integrity and commitment to youth empowerment, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Youth Organizer aspirant for Bunkpurugu, Mr. Lambon Moigbarin, has fulfilled his pledge by presenting GH¢15,000 as seed money to support youth activities in the constituency.
The presentation was made on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Lom Community Radio in Bunkpurugu.
The pledge was first announced during a meeting with electoral area youth organizers at the Social Centre, where Mr. Moigbarin declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Youth Organizer.
At that meeting, he promised to establish a GH¢15,000 Youth Support Fund to facilitate activities of the NDC youth in the Bunkpurugu Constituency.
Fulfilling the promise, Mr. Moigbarin said the seed money is intended to support the youth wing of the party and help ease some of the financial challenges confronting youth activities in the constituency.
He reiterated that the fund belongs to the youth and should be managed responsibly, transparently, and solely for the benefit of the party.
Mr. Moigbarin again paid tribute to former Constituency Youth Organizer Mr. Ambrose, describing his 2016–2023 tenure as one marked by dedication and commitment to youth development.
He said his decision to establish the fund was inspired by the desire to continue and build upon that legacy.
As part of measures to ensure accountability and transparency, three youth organizers were selected as signatories to the NDC Youth Organizers Support Fund account.
They are Mr. Alhassan Adams, Youth Organizer for Bunkpurugu Central Polling Station; Mr. Sukuru Ebenezer, Youth Organizer for Chintlung No. 1 Polling Station; and Mr. Alhassan Mamara, Youth Organizer for Bendi.
The three signatories officially received the cheque on behalf of all NDC youth organizers in the Bunkpurugu Constituency.
Mr. Moigbarin urged members of the party to remain united and always place the interests of the NDC above personal ambitions, stressing that unity is essential for the party’s progress in the Bunkpurugu Constituency.
Some youth organizers who witnessed the presentation told Lom News that the fulfilment of the pledge demonstrates commitment and accountability.
They described the initiative as unprecedented in the constituency and expressed hope that the fund would strengthen youth participation and support party activities across the constituency.
The presentation ended with renewed calls for unity, transparency in the management of the fund, and continued support for the growth of the National Democratic Congress in the Bunkpurugu Constituency.
