“Ave Maria” Concert: Catholic Philharmonic Choir – Ghana to Celebrate Our Lady on July 26

The Catholic Philharmonic Choir – Ghana is set to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary with a Marian Concert dubbed ‘Ave Maria – A Celebration of Our Lady’.

The much-anticipated musical event comes off on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Bohyen Ampabame in the Ashanti Region.

The concert will showcase the choir’s rich repertoire of sacred Marian hymns and classical pieces, offering the faithful an evening of prayer, reflection and uplifting choral ministration in honour of the Mother of Christ.

Organizers say the event seeks to deepen Marian devotion and promote evangelization through sacred music.

This program is planned to giving Catholics and music enthusiasts beyond Kumasi the opportunity to join the celebration virtually.

All Marian societies, parish choirs, and the general public are invited to attend.
