Offinso North MP Sponsors Best Farmer on Fully Funded Dubai Tour

Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, Member of Parliament for Offinso North Constituency, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to supporting and empowering hardworking farmers by fulfilling his promise to the 2025 Offinso North District Best Farmer.

In fulfilment of the pledge he made during the 41st National Farmers’ Day celebration, the MP has sponsored Mr. Akwasi Addai of Tanokwaem, the 2025 Offinso North District Best Farmer, on a fully-sponsored seven-day tour to Dubai.

The educative and exploratory tour is aimed at exposing Mr. Addai to modern agricultural practices, innovations, agribusiness models, and investment opportunities on the global stage.

This initiative, according to the MP, forms part of his broader vision to transform agriculture in the constituency from subsistence to a lucrative, technology-driven enterprise.

Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah believes that recognizing and rewarding excellence in agriculture not only motivates farmers to give off their best, but also inspires more young people to venture into farming as a viable and dignified source of livelihood.

He reiterated his commitment to continue championing policies and interventions that empower farmers, improve productivity, and ensure food security in Offinso North and beyond.
