Offinso North Students Experience Democracy First-Hand as Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah’s Educational Tour Hits Accra.
MP exposes young constituents to Parliament, Nkrumah Memorial Park and historic sites to inspire future leadership
Accra, May 13 Scores of students from the Offinso North Constituency have arrived in Accra for the second edition of the Educational Tour sponsored by their Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah.
The highly anticipated tour, currently underway in the capital, is taking students on an immersive journey through Ghana’s democratic and historical landmarks, including a special visit to the Parliament House of Ghana and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
The initiative, which has become a flagship youth development program for the Offinso North MP, seeks to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical civic education.
By exposing students to the seat of Ghana’s democracy and monuments that tell the story of the nation’s independence struggle, the tour aims to broaden their worldview and nurture a new generation of patriotic, informed and responsible leaders.
Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, MP for Offinso North, has in recent months intensified his investment in education through interventions such as the Anidaso Students Assistantship Program [ASAP], which provides annual financial support for tertiary students from the district.
The ongoing tour reinforces his vision that development must start from the grassroots by empowering young people with knowledge and inspiration.
Residents and stakeholders in the constituency have lauded the MP’s approach to leadership.
According to them, his unwavering commitment, accessibility and selfless service continue to restore hope and confidence in political leadership.

The students are expected to visit other notable tourist and cultural sites in Accra before the end of the tour.
