New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Vice Chairmanship aspirant, Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, has vowed to fight relentlessly for the welfare of party executives if given the nod as National Vice Chairman of the party.

According to him, party executives and grassroots members remain the backbone of the NPP and must no longer be treated as tools only relevant during elections.

Speaking during his campaign engagements, Kojo Bamba said his decision to contest is driven by a deep desire to correct the mistakes of the past, restore dignity to party structures, and ensure that those who toil for victory are given the recognition, support and motivation they deserve.

“I will fight relentlessly for the welfare of our party executives if elected National Vice Chair,” Kojo Bamba assured.

“These constituency executives are the ones who work for power to be attained, but they are often sidelined when power is attained.”

The outspoken aspirant, who is a former Deputy National Director of Operations of the NPP’s youth wing, emphasized that his agenda is anchored on three pillars: unity, strong party structures, and better welfare for executives across the country.

He noted that the NPP’s return to power in 2028 will depend largely on how well the party empowers its polling station, electoral area and constituency executives, whom he described as frontline soldiers.

“The party must move beyond celebrating grassroots activists during election periods and instead provide them with the resources, training and support needed to effectively perform their roles,” he said.

Kojo Bamba, who has in recent weeks toured about 12 constituencies in the Ashanti Region and other areas, said if elected, his priority will be to work closely with constituency structures to build their capacity to monitor polling stations, protect the ballot, and mobilize voters.

He also called on all party faithful to remain united and work collectively to secure victory for the NPP’s 2028 Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Mr. Bamba is among 13 aspirants who have filed to contest the National Vice Chairmanship position ahead of the party’s National Delegates Conference scheduled for October,2026.

Vetting for Vice Chairmanship aspirants was held on September 1, 2026, as part of the roadmap outlined by the National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC).

Some Party Chairman’s and other grassroots leaders have described Kojo Bamba’s message as “powerful and timely,” noting that his focus on welfare and grassroots empowerment resonates with many executives who have long felt neglected.

Kojo Bamba maintains that rebuilding the NPP must start from the polling station, not just at the national headquarters, and has pledged to be present “down there at the grassroots at this critical moment” to re-energize the base for victory in 2028.
