Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Launches Amenfi Central Co-operative & Mutual Support Services for Easy Banking

Amenfi Central MP, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has launched the Amenfi Central Co-operative and Mutual Support Services, a new initiative aimed at expanding financial access for residents across the constituency.

The co-operative, branded with the slogan “Easy Banking Anywhere, Anytime”, introduces a USSD service that allows members to transact without needing a physical bank branch. Users can dial `_365_505#` to access basic banking services directly from their phones.

Speaking at the launch, Hon. Gyan Cudjoe said the platform was designed to support farmers, traders, and small businesses who struggle with access to formal financial services.

She noted that the co-operative model would also promote mutual support among members while driving economic growth in Amenfi Central.

The green and gold branding reflects the constituency’s agricultural roots and commitment to community development.
