The Christian Mothers’ Association, CMA Italy Province, rounded off its Mother’s Day festivities with Part 2 of the celebration held Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Generalate of the Divine Word Missionaries SVD in Rome, Italy.

The event brought together members of the Catholic community for a day of thanksgiving, fellowship, and honouring mothers.

The Generalate provided a warm and serene setting that underscored the spirit of unity and faith that defined the celebration.

CMA Italy Province extended heartfelt appreciation to all dignitaries and guests whose presence and support made the occasion memorable.

Special thanks went to the Ambassadors of Ghana to the Holy See, His Excellency Sir Ben Assorow and Her Excellency Mrs Mona Helen Kabuki Quartey, for gracing the event with their presence.

The Association also acknowledged the Ambassador of Ghana to Italy for his solidarity with the Ghanaian Catholic community in Rome.

Gratitude was also expressed to the parish priests, Rev. Fr. Abraham Kposu and Rev. Fr. Clement Baffoe, for their spiritual guidance and pastoral care. The Church Council and the entire Catholic Community were commended for their cooperation and active participation.

“The Executive and entire members of CMA Italy Province are deeply grateful for your warm reception and generous gifts. Your love and support continue to strengthen our mission of faith, service, and sisterhood,” the Association stated.
