Accra, Ghana_ – St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary in Sowutuom has issued a call to the faithful and people of goodwill to invest in the formation of priests for the Catholic Church.

The seminary, which has been instrumental in shaping clergy for service across Ghana and beyond, emphasized that priestly formation requires sustained financial and spiritual support.

Training future priests involves years of academic study, human formation, spiritual direction, and pastoral experience—all of which depend on the generosity :https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BBddisbDY/

“Are you ready to respond to her call?” the seminary’s appeal asks. The message frames the request as an opportunity for lay Catholics to participate directly in the mission of the Church by supporting the men preparing for the priesthood.

Organizers note that contributions go toward tuition, accommodation, formation programs, and the daily needs of seminarians.

They describe the initiative as an investment in the future of the Church in Ghana and the wider region.

The appeal concludes with a blessing for supporters: “Kindly invest in the formation of Priests for our dear mother Church. God richly bless you.”

St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom, continues to welcome donations and partnerships from individuals, families, parishes, and organizations interested in supporting priestly vocations.
