“Cultivating Reading Habit: A Call to Ghanaians”

“Cultivating Reading Habit: A Call to Ghanaians”

Ghanaians, especially Christians, are being urged to develop a reading habit. Pastor Joseph Ackah Miazah, President of the Western North Ghana Conference of the SDA church, lamented the poor approach to reading among Ghanaians, saying it has led many astray.

Speaking at the launch of his book, “The Church as a hospital: understanding the mission of the church”, at Asawinso SDA church, Pastor Miazah emphasized the need for Christians to return to the Bible and read it to understand its teachings.

He urged Christians to practice what the Bible says, rather than following personal interpretations. “Most Christians do things aside what the Bible says,” he noted.

In his speech, Pastor Miazah also called on Ghanaians, especially the youth, to work harder this year to achieve their goals.

The event was reported by Osomafo Kwame Owusu of Liberty FM, Sefwi Wiawso, Western North Region.
