“Faith is the Key”: Christians Urged to Embody Gospel Values.
KUMASI, GHANA – Rev. Fr. Michael Kwaku Boahene, Parish Priest of Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Asawase, has emphasized the importance of walking by faith and putting trust in action, as Christians navigate their spiritual journey.
Speaking on the theme “Pilgrims of Hope: Keeping the Faith and Finishing the Race” (2nd Tim 4:1-8) at the December 2025 edition on the 3rd day of the Faith Rally at the forecourt of Saint Peter Basilica, Rev. Fr. Boahene stressed that faith without works is dead.
“Faith without works cannot lead us to our destiny,” he said.
“Our faith can lead us to our destiny helpers, the faith of our predecessors, which has led and had an impact on our lives today. Where lies your faith as Christians today?”
Fr. Boahene’s message emphasized that faith is not just a feeling or a belief, but a powerful force that requires action.
He encouraged Christians to reflect on the faith of their predecessors, recognize its impact, and put their own faith into action.
The Faith Rally drew Christians from various denominations, who gathered to rekindle their faith and hope for a better future.
