UPDATE: National Service Authority Addresses Delay in September 2025 Service Allowance Payment

The National Service Authority (NSA) in Ghana has acknowledged concerns from National Service Personnel regarding a delay in the payment of their September 2025 service allowance.

In a public notice dated November 6, 2025, the NSA expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding of service personnel as processes for payment are actively ongoing.

According to the notice signed by Donkor Fuseini, Deputy Director-General of Finance and Administration, all necessary documentation and submissions have been completed and are pending final approval and release of funds from the Office of the Accountant-General.

The Authority assures National Service Personnel that payments will be made as soon as the approval process is completed. The NSA remains committed to ensuring timely disbursements moving forward.

“We value your service to the nation and encourage all personnel to remain calm as we work closely with the relevant stakeholders to resolve this matter promptly,” the notice states.

The NSA’s update aims to provide clarity on the status of the allowance payment amidst concerns from personnel across the country.
