Aspiring Nurse Killed in Armed Robbery Attack in Denase, MP Mourns

A devastating armed robbery attack in Denase, Ashanti Region, has claimed the lives of two individuals, including Peggy Ayelbassah, an aspiring nurse.

The incident occurred on Thursday night when unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle, injuring three others.

Peggy, who was reportedly on her way to a nursing training college admission interview, had reached out to the local MP, Collins Adomako-Mensah, via WhatsApp just a day before the incident.

The MP mourned her loss on Facebook

The Unit Committee Chairman for the Denase Electoral Area suggests the attack may have been targeted, citing 14 rounds fired during the assault.

Residents are demanding enhanced security measures and swift police action.
