Fire Guts Fashion Designer’s Shop, Destroys Equipment and Materials
A devastating fire outbreak has destroyed the shop of a young fashion designer, Ampofo Michael,at Akyem Oda in Birim Central Municipal Assembly burning industrial and hand sewing machines, sewing materials, and other valuable belongings.
The incident occurred in the early hours of today, leaving the young entrepreneur counting heavy losses and appealing to the public for support.
Ampofo Michael, a young and hardworking fashion designer, has suffered a major setback after a fire swept through his shop this morning, destroying property worth thousands of cedis.
According to reports, around 5:30 AM they saw the frames ,the fire consumed several valuable items, including an industrial sewing machine, hand sewing machines, sewn and unsewn materials, and other equipment used in his daily work. The blaze left most of the shop’s contents beyond repair.
The unfortunate incident has disrupted Michael’s fashion business and source of livelihood. Speaking after the incident, he expressed sadness over the loss and said he is struggling to come to terms with the destruction caused by the fire.
He is therefore appealing to individuals, organizations, and philanthropists to come to his aid with financial or material support to help him rebuild his business and resume work.
Community members who saw it earlier and blow alarm for help also voice out on how it came about , and have described the incident as heartbreaking and have called on the public to support the young designer during this difficult period as he seeks to recover from the losses.
Ebenezer Frimpong, the Deputy Director for NADMO in Birim Central came in to assessed the situation and gave his remarks to submit his report to regional then it continues to National as their Rules demand
