Students from the Offinso North Constituency have expressed their profound and heartfelt appreciation to the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, for successfully organizing and sponsoring this year’s Anidaso Educational Tour.

The educational tour, an annual initiative fully funded by the MP, offered selected students from Senior High Schools and basic schools across the constituency the opportunity to travel to Accra on an exposure and learning expedition.

The delegation visited several iconic national institutions including the Parliament House of Ghana, the University of Ghana, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the Black Star Square and other strategic state establishments.

For many of the students, the tour marked their first ever visit to the capital city and their first opportunity to witness parliamentary proceedings live, an experience they described as inspiring and unforgettable.

In a statement issued on behalf of the beneficiaries, the leadership of the Offinso North Students Union described the tour as transformative, motivational and life-changing.

They noted that the initiative has broadened their understanding of governance and national leadership while igniting in them a renewed sense of patriotism and ambition.

The statement further acknowledged that the Anidaso Educational Tour is part of a consistent pattern of massive investment in education by Hon. Dr. Asamoah.

They cited his launch of the Anidaso Students Assistantship Program which provides at least Two Thousand Ghana Cedis annually to tertiary students from the constituency, his donation of mathematical sets and pens to more than one thousand five hundred BECE candidates together with feeding support, his thirty-five thousand Ghana Cedis sponsorship for vacation classes benefiting over one thousand five hundred candidates, and his institution of a three thousand Ghana Cedis reward package for candidates who obtain aggregate nine or better in the BECE.

According to the students, Hon. Dr. Asamoah has redefined representation through practical action and has demonstrated that education remains the surest path to poverty reduction and sustainable development.

One final-year student of Nkenkaasu Senior High School who participated in the tour said the MP has shown through his actions that the future of Offinso North is in safe hands, as he continues to prioritize the welfare and academic growth of students.

The students pledged to translate the exposure and inspiration gained from the tour into academic excellence and responsible citizenship, while encouraging their colleagues to remain focused on their studies.

They also called on parents, teachers, traditional authorities and other stakeholders to rally behind the MP’s educational vision to position Offinso North as a beacon of educational excellence in the Ashanti Region and beyond.

The Anidaso Educational Tour is a key component of Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah’s broader Anidaso development agenda, which is anchored on hope, opportunity and inclusive growth for the youth of Offinso North.
