Offinso North MP Donates Maths Sets and Pens to 1,500+ BECE Candidates.

In a significant pre-examination intervention, the Member of Parliament for Offinso North, Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, has donated mathematical sets and pens to Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates within the constituency.

The presentation was done on behalf of the MP by Chairman Johnson Mogma (Offinso North Constituency NPP Chairman).

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Chairman Johnson delivered the MP’s message of hope to the candidates through the District Education Director.

He also emphasized the importance of adequate preparation, both mental and material.

Beyond that, the MP through his chairman encouraged the candidates to remain disciplined, study hard, and avoid exam malpractice.

He also promised an additional incentive of GHS 3,000 to any candidate who gets aggregate 9 or below.

The District Director of Education (Mr. Michael Addo-Fordjour) expressed gratitude for the gesture, something that many students from low-income backgrounds struggle to procure as essential examination materials.

“This intervention removes a key financial burden and allows learners to focus on what really matters,” he said.

Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah has demonstrated consistent commitment to educational progress in the district over the years, aside from building school blocks.

He has introduced the provision of feeding fees for B.E.C.E candidates in the examination period, sponsoring students of the district on educational tours to the Parliament House and other places in Accra yearly, organizing free vacation classes for B.E.C.E candidates, and establishing the Anidaso Students Assistantship Program
