Offinso North MP Donates Math Sets, Pens to Boost Education; Pledges Scholarship for Top Student.

Offinso North District, Ashanti Region – April 21, 2026_

Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, Member of Parliament for Offinso North Constituency, has donated 2,000 mathematical sets and 1,550pens to students in the Offinso North District as part of efforts to support education and reduce financial pressure on families,also have taken each student feeding for the entire examination week.

The educational materials were presented on behalf of the MP by Hon. Mogma John, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Offinso North.

The donation is aimed at helping pupils prepare adequately for examinations and improving learning outcomes across the district.

Speaking through his representative, Dr. Asamoah reaffirmed his commitment to educational development in the offinso North constituency.

He pledged to use  fund to support bright but needy students to continue their education without interruption.

In a further boost to academic excellence, the MP also promised to fully sponsor the best-performing student in the district to pursue studies abroad.

“This initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on families while promoting education and development in the Offinso North Constituency,” Hon. Mogma John said during the presentation.

Officials from the Offinso North Education Directorate expressed gratitude to Hon. Dr. Asamoah and other supporters for their continued contributions to education.

The Directorate assured the public that the materials would be distributed fairly to all beneficiary schools, with no bias.

The Education Directorate also used the occasion to appeal to investors and philanthropists to explore opportunities in the district that would create jobs and improve livelihoods for residents.

The donation forms part of Hon. Dr. Asamoah’s broader agenda to prioritize human capital development and expand access to quality education in Offinso North.
