Offinso Asuosu Installs New Gyaasehene Nana Yaw Annor II, Calls for Unity and Youth Discipline

Offinso Asuosu has a new traditional leader. Nana Yaw Annor II was enstooled as the new Gyaasehene of Offinso Asuosu in a ceremony that brought chiefs, elders, and residents together.

Speaking after his installation, Nana Yaw Annor II called for unity among the people of Asuosu.

He said development can only happen when the community stands as one, puts old disputes aside, and supports the stool.

The new Gyaasehene also had a strong message for Ghanaian youth. “You must be careful of your steps. People are watching you,” he warned.

“The lifestyle and behaviour you choose today can lead you either to royalty or to despair. Conduct yourselves well, because your actions will determine your future.”

He urged young people to avoid shortcuts, drug abuse, and violence, and instead focus on education, hard work, and respect for tradition. According to him, discipline and good character are what open doors to leadership and respect in society.

Residents and dignitaries who attended the ceremony welcomed the new Gyaasehene and pledged their support to help him serve the community.
