Atwima Nwabiagya North: Officials Call for Attitudinal Change to Drive National Development.

Atwima Nwabiagya North, Ashanti Region. The District Coordinating Director for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Rev. Kofi Antwi Akowua, has urged Ghanaians to embrace attitudinal change as a catalyst for national development.

Speaking on behalf of District Chief Executive Hon. Zachariah Mba, Rev. Akowua said that while the President’s initiative aims to strengthen the nation’s relationship with God for divine blessings, progress will remain elusive if citizens do not abandon actions that hinder development.

“Without changing the negative attitudes that set the country back, we shall not succeed,” he stated.

The Akropong Mamahene, Oheneba Sarfo Gyamfi Kumaning, also called on Ghanaians to take personal responsibility for national growth.

He cautioned against blaming chiefs and government for challenges, stressing that “we must all do the right things to move the country forward.”

Adding his voice, Rev. Kenneth Darkwa Akromah, Minister in charge of Akropong Calvary Methodist Church and Chaplain of Osei Tutu SHS, linked recent flooding across the country to human activity.

He urged citizens to “reset our values” to build the nation they desire.

“If we want to get it right, we must change our attitudes,” Rev. Akromah said.

The call comes as communities in the Ashanti Region grapple with sanitation and flooding issues often tied to waste disposal and building in waterways.

Local leaders say attitudinal change is key to sustaining government and traditional interventions.
