“Water for All: Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah Springs into Action for Sraneso No.1”

Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah member of parliament for the good people of Offinso North on 21st September 2025 had the privilege of engaging with the  good people of Sraneso No.1 in the offinso north Municipality, following an invitation from their Assemblyman, Hon. Ata Anaaba, to discuss a community-driven borehole project.

During the meeting, Dr. Asamoah committed to covering the full cost of the borehole, showcasing his dedication to improving the community’s access to clean water.

Furthermore, Dr. Asamoah requested that Hon. Anaaba refund the GHC 100 contributions made by each resident towards the drilling of the borehole.

This gesture aims to alleviate the financial burden on the community members while ensuring the project’s success.

Dr. Asamoah also praised Hon. Anaaba for exemplifying true leadership by prioritizing the community’s needs over political affiliations.

This collaboration highlights the importance of putting aside differences to drive development and enhance living conditions.

The borehole project is expected to significantly benefit the residents of Sraneso No.1 in the offinso North Municipality, providing them with a reliable source of clean water.

This initiative aligns with efforts by other organizations and government agencies to improve access to water and sanitation, particularly in rural areas.
