Omanhene Appeals for Community Unity and Support Ahead of 2025 Festival

The Omanhene of the Twifo Hemang traditional Area, Otumfo Amoah Sasereku IV, has earnestly called upon his community to unite and support the upcoming 2025 TUANKO Festival.

This year’s festival aims to generate funds for the establishment of a Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Twifo Hemang, with 70 percent of the required infrastructure already in place.

Otumfo Amoah Sasereku IV highlighted the significance of collective effort in bringing this essential project to fruition. He also encouraged the youth to avoid negative habits that could hinder their future prospects.

Nana Adwoa Obeng Asor II, the Queen Mother of Twifoman, urged young women to exercise caution and stay away from circumstances that might result in teenage pregnancies.

Residents are also inviting individuals from outside Twifo Hemang, including those living abroad, to return home for the 2025 TUANKO Festival, which aims to support the completion of the nursing training college that promises to benefit the entire community.
