Central Regional Council of State Member Inspects Ongoing Development Projects in Twifo Atti-Morkwa
Twifo Praso — The Central Regional Member of the Council of State, Hon. Hakim Adai, who also serves as the Constituency Chairman for the NDC in Twifo Atti-Morkwa, has partnered with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti-Morkwa District, Hon. Isaac Yawson, to conduct an inspection tour of several ongoing government projects in the district.
The joint inspection exercise, which took place in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region, was aimed at assessing progress of work and ensuring value for money on state-funded projects.
The delegation inspected three key infrastructure developments including the construction of a new Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) office at Twifo Praso, a 3-unit classroom block at Twifo 34, and an ongoing road rehabilitation project at Twifo Mmosiaso.
Speaking to the press after the tour, Hon. Adai expressed satisfaction with the level of work executed so far, describing the overall progress as commendable.
According to him, the contractors on site are demonstrating commitment to quality and timely delivery, which he noted is crucial for accelerating development in the district.
He added that the inspection forms part of a broader regional initiative aimed at monitoring state-funded development projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to high standards.
Hon. Adai reiterated the Council of State’s commitment to supporting government’s development agenda and called on contractors to maintain quality work while urging residents to support and protect public infrastructure.
For his part, DCE Hon. Isaac Yawson assured residents of government’s resolve to complete all ongoing projects in the district.
He noted that education, road infrastructure, and improved access to public services remain a top priority for the Assembly under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.
Residents in the beneficiary communities welcomed the visit and expressed optimism that the projects when completed will ease access to public services, improve learning conditions, and boost economic activities.
