Serious Accident at Akyem Kade; Six People Unconscious Including Children.

A serious road accident occurred at Akyem Kade in the Kwaebibirem Municipality of the Eastern Region this morning at about 8:40 a.m. after a cargo truck reportedly suffered brake failure and crashed into a Pragia tricycle and trotro vehicle loaded with passengers.

According to eyewitnesses, the cargo truck lost control after its brakes allegedly failed, causing it to collide with the two passenger vehicles before crashing into Country Side Pub and Grill.

The impact of the crash left several passengers seriously injured. Reports indicate that six people, including children under the age of three, were rendered unconscious and were rushed to the Kade government Hospital for medical attention.

Residents and bystanders quickly rushed to the scene to assist the victims before emergency responders arrived.

The accident caused panic among traders, motorists, and residents in the area.

Police officers have since visited the scene to begin investigations into the cause of the accident and to manage traffic in the area.
