‎Speeding Toyota Voxy Collides With Passenger Vehicle At Tanoso; Several Injure.

‎B/A – Several passengers sustained severe injuries on Friday after a speeding Toyota Voxy collided with an oncoming passenger vehicle near the Tanoso cemetery in the Techiman Municipality.

‎The crash occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. when the Toyota Voxy with registration no. BT 324-25, attempting to overtake another vehicle on a curve, veered into the opposite lane. An oncoming Urvan minibus carrying passengers, goods, and livestock swerved onto the pedestrian walkway to avoid a head-on collision.

‎However, due to the Voxy’s excessive speed, it struck the rear side of the minibus with force. The impact caused the minibus to spin anti-clockwise before overturning onto its side.
‎
‎Officers from the Tanoso District Police Command responded swiftly, conveying the injured to health facilities in Tanoso and Afrancho for treatment. The damaged vehicles were later towed to restore normal traffic flow.
‎
‎Police have commenced investigations into the incident.
