BREAKING NEWS:PRESIDENT MAHAMA’S APPOINTEE RESIGNS!

Few months after her appointment, President Mahama’s appointee, Hon Betty Krosbi Mensah, National Cordinator for Recreation & Wellness has resigned from her position.

In her resignation letter addressed to the Secretary to the President via the Sports & Recreation Minister, the Former Member of Parliament for Afram Plains North and the National Coordinator of Recreation & Wellness, an agency under the Sports & Recreation Ministry, she indicated her deep thought decision about her resignation .

A letter intersected indicates that the Recreation & Wellness Coordinator thanked the President and the Country for the opportunity to serve in the Government.

The two term MP for Afram Plains says her resignation came as a result of her decision to pursue her political ambition to contest as the National Women’s Organizer of the NDC.

The National Democratic Congress as its guidelines issued a directives to all office holders to resign months to allow them run for election in the Party. This is what the former MP has complied with by stepping down from her position.
