Police Arrest Woman, Son Over Alleged Murder of Land Agent at Nsawam-Aduakrom

Police have arrested Abigail Cheetham, 34, and her son, Prince, in connection with the alleged murder of her husband, Nicholas Cheetham, 36, a land agent, and the attempted murder of the deceased’s 15-year-old son, Richmond, at Nsawam-Aduakrom.

According to investigators, Abigail was allegedly with Nicholas shortly before the attack. Police say Nicholas had given the suspect GH¢30,000 for safekeeping.

The circumstances leading to the alleged incident are still under investigation.

Both suspects are in police custody assisting with investigations. Authorities say Richmond, the 15-year-old who survived the attack, is receiving medical attention.
