Ahinsan -Kumasi — The parish community of Christ the King Catholic Church, Ahinsan has honoured its Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony Kwadwo Darko, with a Citation of Honour in recognition of his outstanding service and dedication to the church.

The citation, presented by Hon. Amo Mensah Mark and Stephen Agyemang, celebrates Fr. Darko’s years of “humble, wise, and compassionate” leadership. The parish lauded his powerful teachings, fatherly guidance, and tireless sacrifices which they say have strengthened the faith of countless members and impacted lives beyond the pulpit.

“In grateful recognition of your outstanding service, unwavering dedication, and selfless commitment to the growth and spiritual development of the Church and its members,” the citation reads. It further notes his commitment to promoting unity, peace, discipline, and Christian values as a legacy that “will forever remain in our hearts.”

The honour comes as Fr. Darko concludes his ministry at Christ the King Catholic Church and prepares to begin a new chapter in his priestly journey. The parish expressed “deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude” for his contribution to the church’s growth and success.

The citation closes with Matthew 25:23: “Well done, good and faithful servant,” and prayers for God’s blessings and guidance in his future endeavours.
