NDC’s 24-Hour Economy Not Feasible – Hon. Yaw Addo Frimpong
The former Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Manso Adobea, Hon. Yaw Addo Frimpong, has expressed concerns about the feasibility of the NDC’s 24-hour economy policy.
According to Hon. Frimpong, the policy is not organic and cannot work because the informal sector’s population surpasses that of the formal sector.
Hon. Frimpong made these assertions during a media engagement, highlighting the challenges of implementing policies that may not be tailored to Ghana’s economic realities.
He emphasized that the country’s informal sector is significantly larger than the formal sector, making it difficult to implement policies that may not account for this disparity.
The MP’s comments raise questions about the practicality of the NDC’s 24-hour economy policy and its potential impact on Ghana’s economy.
As the debate around economic policies continues, stakeholders will be closely watching the developments and potential implications for the country’s economic future.
