PSFGh Set for Global Leap as Nana Obeng Opoku Boadi Enters International Relations Officer Race
Accra, Ghana -Mr. Nana Obeng Opoku Boadi, a student of the Entrance University of Health Sciences, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of International Relations Officer of the Pharmaceutical Students Federation Ghana, PSFGh, for the 2026/2027 administrative year.
The declaration was contained in an official campaign video released on Thursday, under the theme “PSFGh Deserves A Seat At The Global Table. It Is Time To Take It.”
Mr. Boadi is campaigning on the slogans “VoiceBeyondBorders” and “W’s To The World,” with a central vision to connect PSFGh to the world and bring the world closer to PSFGh.
In his address, he questioned the limited global exposure available to members and stressed the need for stronger international linkages to unlock new opportunities for Ghanaian pharmacy students.
“What if the next opportunity for a PSFGh member isn’t here in Ghana but somewhere beyond our borders? What if one connection could make that happen? One partnership could create an opportunity and one voice could put the Pharmaceutical Students Federation of Ghana on the global map?” he stated.
According to him, members of the Federation possess the talent, ambition and voice required to compete globally, but require stronger bridges to convert that potential into tangible opportunities.
Mr. Boadi said his focus, if elected, will be on building meaningful international partnerships with bodies such as the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation, the FIP Young Pharmacists Group and sister pharmaceutical associations across Africa and beyond.
He also pledged to expand opportunities for exchange and professional development through programmes such as the Student Exchange Programme, international congresses, research collaborations and leadership trainings, while working to enhance the visibility and representation of PSFGh on the global stage.
“I believe we can make it happen. I am Nana Obeng Opoku Boadi and I am running for Pharmaceutical Students Federation Ghana International Relations Officer for the 2026/2027 mandate,” he affirmed.
The Office of the International Relations Officer is responsible for coordinating all external and international engagements of the Federation, including correspondence, partnership negotiations and representation at international fora.
