12-Year-Old Genius, Prince Daniel, Gains Admission to UEW to Study Art Education – Becomes Youngest Student in University’s History

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has admitted 12-year-old Prince Daniel to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, making him the youngest student ever to be admitted in the history of the university.

Prince Daniel’s admission breaks the university’s age record previously held by his own elder brother, who gained admission to the same university at age 13.

According to information available to this portal, the young prodigy successfully passed all admission requirements and was offered admission into the Department of Art Education, under the School of Creative Arts, for the 2025/2026 academic year.

A source at the university’s Academic Affairs Directorate confirmed that his admission has been duly processed and described it as “historic and unprecedented.”

“Prince Daniel is exceptionally gifted. He met the entry requirements and excelled in the admission process. At 12 years old, he has become the youngest student we have ever admitted since the establishment of the university,” the source noted.

His story is one of extraordinary academic brilliance. Reports indicate that Prince Daniel completed his basic and senior high school education at a remarkably young age, demonstrating exceptional intellect and discipline beyond his years.
