Shamor Movement for Change Foundation Inaugurated to Empower and Support the Needy

The Shamor Movement for Change Foundation has been officially inaugurated with a commitment to empower the youth through job creation and support the needy in Offinso and surrounding communities.
The Foundation was established by its Founder and Executive Director, Apostle Dr. Nana Adugyamfi Kumani, Barima Kese I, who is a philanthropist and the Chief Executive Officer of Shamor Herbal Centre.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Apostle Dr. Kumani explained that the mission and vision of the Foundation is to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country by empowering the youth and supporting the less privileged to improve their standard of living.
According to him, the core aim is to promote youth employment through sustainable job creation and to provide care and support for the vulnerable in society.
He noted that every community in Offinso can boast of his signature projects aimed at ensuring the total development of the area, stressing that development is not the responsibility of chiefs alone, but individuals can also contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities.
He disclosed that machines and equipment are available to any community that needs them to improve its road network. He added that he has also provided about 200 dustbins to the Offinso township to enhance cleanliness and environmental hygiene.
To ensure sustainability, Nana Adugyamfi said he has invested GH¢10,000.00 as start-up capital to make the organisation strong and capable of fulfilling the purpose for which it was established.
Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, 2024 flagbearer for the Movement for Change and currently the founder of the United Party, who graced the occasion, said politics is about national development and improving the living standards of citizens, adding that unemployment remains a huge challenge for the country.
“Shamor deserves to venture into politics; he deserves support to help reduce unemployment. The country needs to support individuals who are doing well in creating jobs,” he stated, and announced a donation of GH¢10,000.00 to support the Foundation.
The Chairman for the occasion, Nana Osei Bediako, who represented Isaac Books, said any country that prioritises development would wish to have a person like Nana Adugyamfi Kumani. He commended him for his selfless commitment towards the development of Offinso, its surrounding communities and the country as a whole.
