Ahafo Ano South West NPP Holds Thanksgiving Service After Peaceful Constituency Elections

The Ahafo Ano South West Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has held a thanksgiving service at the Mankranso Methodist Church following the successful conduct of its constituency elections.

Speaking in an interview, the newly elected Constituency Secretary, Eric Agyakum, said the service was organized to thank God for the peaceful and successful elections.

He explained that while some constituencies experienced conflicts and misunderstandings during their elections, the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency conducted its polls in peace and unity.

According to him, the leadership and members considered it necessary to return thanks to God for guiding the party through a calm electoral process and ensuring a successful outcome.

Mr. Eric Agyekum further stated that immediately after the constituency elections, members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) came together, resolved their differences, and united as one family.

He noted that the members held discussions among themselves and reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the progress of the party.

Stating that, their shared vision is to build a stronger NPP and work hard to help Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia win the 2028 general election.

The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, also congratulated the delegates for their exemplary conduct during the constituency elections.

He noted that while some constituencies recorded violent incidents, with several people sustaining injuries and others reportedly attacked with cutlasses leaving some victims still receiving treatment in hospital the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency experienced a peaceful electoral process.

According to the MP, the peaceful atmosphere was a reflection of the unity that exists within the constituency.

He described the Ahafo Ano South West NPP as one united family, adding that this spirit of togetherness was the reason no violence or misunderstanding occurred during the elections.

Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah further stated that he remained neutral throughout the election because he was prepared to support whoever emerged victorious.

He explained that rather than taking sides, he closely monitored the process to ensure it was conducted peacefully and fairly.
