Accountability in Action: Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah Meets Afrancho People.
Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, Member of Parliament for Offinso North Constituency, had an engagement with the people of Afrancho as part of his commitment to promoting accountability, development and community participation.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of Afrancho, Nana Badu Finam II, the Queen Mother, Nana Adwoa Ampomah, the Party Chairman, Mr. Johnson Mogma, opinion leaders, and residents of the community.
During the engagement, the traditional leaders and residents expressed their appreciation to Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah for his outstanding contributions to the development of Afrancho.
They commended him for his efforts toward the construction of the police station, the improvement of the town roads, the Afrancho market project, and the rehabilitation of village roads.
The community also raised concerns about the abandoned AstroTurf project, which has stalled since the change of government.
Additionally, they appealed for the construction of a public toilet facility and a lasting solution to the street lighting challenges in the town.
In response, Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to addressing the needs of the people.
He assured the community of his determination to continue advocating for the completion of the town roads and the construction of a modern 12-seater public toilet facility and also provide motor kings for waste disposals.
To immediately address the street lighting challenge, the Member of Parliament donated 70 LED street bulbs to the people of Afrancho.
Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah also outlined his vision for the community, revealing plans to construct an ultra-modern natural football field and pave the community’s funeral grounds.
Furthermore, he pledged to work towards upgrading Wiafe Akenten Senior High School into a boarding institution to improve access to quality education for students in the area.
The town hall meeting ended on a positive note, with the people expressing confidence in the MP’s leadership and his continued commitment to the development of Afrancho and the entire Offinso North Constituency.
