Fr. Isaac Nti Urges Prayer Over Gossip at Christians Mothers Association 2nd Revival 2026
By Dominic Duut
Kumasi, Ghana— Rev. Fr. Isaac Nti has called on Christians to prioritize prayer and unity over gossip, describing internal division as one of the most significant threats to the modern church.
Addressing participants at the Christians Mothers Association annual programme and 2nd Revival of the Year 2026 held at St. Peter’s Basilica, Fr. Nti said ministries worldwide continue to identify discord as a primary cause of congregational decline.
“Local societies and congregations are often small, making them highly susceptible to internal conflict,” Fr. Nti stated. “Gossip, rumors, and divisive speech do not edify. They weaken churches and communities from within.”
Held under the theme “Changing the Difficulties with Prayers,”the revival emphasized spiritual discipline and communal responsibility.
Fr. Nti urged believers to channel concerns through prayer, safeguard the unity of the body of Christ, and maintain steadfast trust in God.
Rev.Fr.Isaac Nti urged Church leaders present society leaders and entired faithful to affirmed the message, noting that fellowships and small congregations are particularly vulnerable.
He cautioned that the conduct of even one individual can rapidly destabilize an entire community.
The programme convened mothers from multiple parishes for reflection on faith, service, and family life.
