Deputy Youth Organizer Slams NPP Over Economic Criticism in Angel FM Interview
Kumasi, Ghana – The Deputy Youth Organizer for Offinso South who dubbed as Y. E.A director , Hon Sumaila Zakaria, popularly known as Abidal, has criticized the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) over recent comments on Ghana’s economy, saying the party lacks the moral standing to speak on the issue.
Speaking on Angel FM Kumasi 96.1, Hon.Zakaria said Ghanaians have not forgotten the economic challenges experienced during the NPP’s time in government.
“Ghanaians haven’t forgotten the mess the NPP created during their regime,” the statement said. “They have no moral right to talk about the economic stability Ghanaians are currently enjoying.”
Hon.Zakaria’s comments come amid ongoing public debate between the NDC and NPP over the country’s economic direction, cost of living, and recent policy measures.
He argued that the current administration’s efforts have restored a measure of stability that was absent under the previous government.
The Offinso South youth Organizer.Sumaila zakaria is known for his regular media engagements on party and youth-related issues in the Ashanti Region.
Supporters of the NPP maintain that all party officials have a right to participate in national economic discussions and present their record for public assessment.
