Drivers and loading boys in the Abofour market, located in the Offinso municipality of the Ashanti region, Ghana, have taken to the streets to express their frustrations with the market’s current state. The market, which serves as a vital hub for traders and customers, is plagued by numerous challenges that hinder its development.
Mr Joseph Anane said ” Roadside traders have blocked the roads, making it difficult for vehicles to access the market,the market lacks sufficient Zoomlion services to sweep the area, and the few available workers are not paid sometimes.
Paul Asumadu also complaining of the market security said.

“The market lacks adequate security measures, posing a risk to traders and customers have have been rubbed more here during day time which there wasn’t any security here in Abofour market to protect us even streets bulb we don’t have some in some area’s which our lives is at risk.

Some traders also complained that despite paying taxes, the market’s conditions continue to deteriorate.
The drivers, loading boys, and traders are pleading with to the president, Ministers,government officials, the District Assembly, and all stakeholders to intervene and regulate the market’s rules and regulations.
We believe that with proper management and support, the market can be transformed into a thriving commercial hub.
Mr.Christian a businessman from Volter region also advised.

“We the market’s women both buyers and sellers are calling on individuals and organizations to come to their aid, we are emphasizing that the Abofour market is a global market that deserves better infrastructure and services.
