Experience vs New Terrain: Michael Adu Launches Bid for TTAG’s Top Coordinator Post
Kumasi, April 27, 2026 — The race for National Coordinator of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has intensified as Michael Ababioh Adu officially declared his intention to contest in the upcoming 2026 elections.
Adu’s declaration, issued through the TTAG National Secretariat, leans heavily on his three-year track record of service within the association. He has risen through the ranks from Local TTAG Executive to Sector level, and later to the National front.
Quoting himself, Adu noted, “It takes an experienced steward to navigate new terrains and experiences.” He described his tenure so far as a period of learning, growth, and gathering experience vital for TTAG’s progress.
According to Adu, constant engagement with teacher trainees nationwide has shaped his vision for a “stronger, more united, and progressive TTAG.” He called on members for their counsel, support, prayers, resources, and goodwill as the association approaches what he terms “a crucial moment.”
